Agility is shaking up existing business models, forcing our industry to adapt and impacting our professions, processes, and culture. The pandemic has shown that change is happening faster, and companies need to react now. Due to that fact, our Eurapco partners are moving more and more towards agile organizations.
On March 31st and April 1st , 2022, LocalTapiola hosted in Helsinki an Agile Peer Seminar, moderated by Ivan Lippa (Eurapco Sr Programme Manager), Assane Cissé, and Raphael Hess (Eurapco Project Managers), during which all Eurapco Partners shared knowledge, experiences, and best practices on the theme.
As an opening speech, Mattijs Van Kooten, Manager of Continuous Improvement at Achmea, framed the topic with a presentation focused on the History of Lean and Agile. Then, respectively, delegates from LocalTapiola, Achmea, and La Mobilière shared the ways agility is measured within their companies.
On behalf of the Eurekans team, Raphael Hess presented an overview of the current State of Agility @Eurapco Partners addressing key recommendations for improvement.
We ended the first day of the seminar with a roundtable during which all Eurapco partners provided a brief speech on their agile transformation journey highlighting their learnings and challenges.
On the second day, two workshops were held. The first one, in a world café format, was on how to remain compliant when working agile. Then, in a second workshop with a retrospective format, we deep dived into the challenges faced when transitioning into a new way of working. Both workshops helped our participants to have a better understanding of the challenges faced within the Alliance and some path solutions.
To round off the seminar, Reni Waegelein, Head of Lean and Agile Services at Loihde Advisory Oy, gave a presentation focused on the evolution of organizations – from the stone age to the present day and the future, beyond agile.
After a long period of virtual events due to Covid-19 restrictions, the participants enjoyed reconnecting physically with their peers. Moreover, the Agile Peer seminar was very well rated by the 30 participants who joined the experience reaching an NPS of 9. Thanks to the positive feedback received, we are working on new events that will increase the value created for the Eurapco Partners.
