Wilma de Bruijn leaves Eurapco and Achmea

Wilma de Bruijn will step down from her position as general manager at Eurapco in Zurich on 1 January 2024. Frauke Feess of the German insurer Gothaer succeeds her.

In her pursuit of a better work-life balance, Wilma has decided not to return to Achmea. She will use her infectious energy and large network to help people and organizations move forward.

Wilma de Bruijn joined Achmea in 1997 as Director of Marketing & Sales at Fairgo. Later she was, among other things, commercial director at Avéro and director of the Eureko Academy. In 2013 she was appointed general manager of Eurapco, a strategic alliance of eight cooperative insurers in Europe.

Bianca Tetteroo, Chair of the Executive Board of Achmea: “Wilma has worked for this important network with great enthusiasm and ambition over the past ten years. Under her enthusiastic and inspiring leadership, an excellent collaboration has developed between the partners. In addition, many international activities have been developed with very appealing results. The Executive Board thanks Wilma for her great contribution to Achmea and Eurapco and wishes her every success in the future.”
