Paul joined Eurapco in August of 2019 as a Sr. Programme Manager in Innovation. During his time here, Paul drove innovation at Eurapco and was instrumental in establishing a Core Innovation Team (CIT) whilst also guiding the activities of the Eurapco Lab and the Eurapco Innovation Group. Moreover, he worked closely with CIT, identifying new products, technologies, services, and business offerings to challenge the existing insurance industry whilst leveraging the skills and capabilities of the partner companies, following trends and identifying actions to drive innovations forward.
Paul Breeuwer: “I’m looking back at a few exciting but due to covid also harsh years, but happy with the results made with permanent status for the Eurapco Lab and some really cool initiatives in the health and personal lines domains. It has been a great professional experience, but all couldn’t have been achieved without the help and smooth collaboration with the Eurapco-team, the Knowledge Exchange groups, and, the entrepreneurial and enthusiastic members of the Eurapco Lab Core Innovation Team.
I’m really glad Andreas has taken over my responsibilities concerning the Innovation Domain. He will continue to build on the Eurapco Lab and collaboration with partners in the innovation domain and beyond. I wish him all the best!”
About Andreas
Andreas Welz has been at Achmea for five years, working as a strategic portfolio manager within P&C. He is experienced in strategy, product management, sustainability, and project management.
In July 2022, Andreas joined Eurapco as Programme Manager Innovation, replacing Paul. He will be working together closely with all partners in regard to innovation and with the core innovation team.
