Ethical Guidelines for a trustworthy AI

Eurapco has created an exciting new offering for its’ Partners, aimed at enabling sustainable & secure use of AI in accordance with EU regulations.

Pan-Eurapco AI Ethical Principles, developed by the Data Excellence Workstream, are now ready, and any interested person from Business, IT or Data & Analytics who is working of planning to work with AI can (and should) consult those to learn how to make the AI secure, sustainable & compliant.

What are the AI ethical principles?

AI ethical principles are a set of guidelines that aim to ensure that artificial intelligence (AI) technologies are developed and used in a way that is ethically responsible. The principles are intended to help the partner firms to consider the ethical implications of their actions and to ensure that the development and use of AI technologies consider the interests of all those affected by them.

The principles are fully aligned with 7 principles from the EU commission to be more conscious about ethics and respect our companies’ values. We want to promote trustworthy AI and comply with regulators.

Which are these AI ethical principles?

These principles include:

  •  Human agency & oversight
  • Technical robustness & safety
  •  Privacy & Data Governance
  • Transparency
  • Diversity, non-discrimination and fairness
  • Societal and environmental well-being
  • Accountability

These 7 Key Principles represent the requirements of Trustworthy AI.

What is our goal?

Our goal is to establish trustworthy AI principles to guide our work and be aware of ethical considerations and respect our company’s values. We don’t want to rely on a set of rules, but rather provide guidance on what is considered good practice.

Who can you contact?

The Eurapco Data Ambassadors are available to consult interested parties from the Eurapco Alliance, on the applications of those principle guidelines.
