Use Cases Overview
Use Case #1: Customer-Facing AI Chatbot
Presented by Martin Björkman, Data Science Lead at Länsförsäkringar. This use case showcases an external Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) chatbot, powered by GPT as the underlying LLM, which enables customers to receive automated support via a chat interface on Länsförsäkringar’s website. The solution improves customer experience by providing 24/7 assistance, faster responses, and easy access to relevant information – while also reducing pressure on customer service teams. A practical example of how generative AI can deliver immediate business and customer value.
Use Case #2: Hammurabi – AI Supporting Health Claims Process
Presented by Chiara Matteoda, Process Analys at Reale Mutua and Andrea Megaro, AI Architect at Reale Mutua, this use case shows how multiple AI solutions from the repository have been integrated to support and enhance the health claims management process. The Hammurabi AI product combines tools such as Ros@ta Patologia, iOCR, and BlueSpark, creating a unified ecosystem that improves operational efficiency and strengthens decision support across the different stages of the claim’s lifecycle. Hammurabi demonstrates how innovation can generate measurable operational impact within a core business domain such as health insurance claims management.
